Composition: Etoricoxib – a selective COX-2 inhibitor (NSAID) Thiocolchicoside – a muscle relaxant

Uses: Etorek-MR is commonly prescribed for: Muscle spasms Lower back pain Cervical spondylitis Rheumatoid arthritis Osteoarthritis Post-operative pain and inflammation

How It Works: Etoricoxib: Reduces pain and inflammation by selectively inhibiting COX-2 enzyme, thus sparing the stomach lining (less gastric side effects than traditional NSAIDs). Thiocolchicoside: Relaxes muscles by acting on the central nervous system, helping relieve stiffness and spasm.

Dosage: Typically taken once or twice daily, after meals, as prescribed by a doctor. Should not be taken for more than a few days without medical supervision due to potential side effects.

Precautions: Avoid in patients with heart problems, kidney/liver disease, or gastric ulcers.
